The protagonist, Ristarte, is an inexperienced goddess responsible for saving the world of Gaeabrande, and now she is facing danger from the Demon Lord.
She has to call human heroes to save their world as the danger of her land is deadly. Ristarte has to be careful in choosing a Hero from the human world who can fight all the enemies. As a result, she chooses Seiya, who is better than the other contestants.
Ristarte discovers that Seiya is too cautious to enter the world of Gaebrande and has to train a lot to get comfortable. Seiya’s behavior often makes her crazy, which adds elements of fun throughout the series. Together, the pair will go on their journey to haunt and defeat the Demon Lord.

Cautions Hero Season 1 Recap
The first season of Cautious Hero concluded on the 27th of December, 2019, with 12 episodes. Towards the end, everyone finally reaches the Demon Lord’s castle heart. Seiya manages to unleash the gate of Valhalla using his skills. But now his life starts crumbling, and it is up to Ristarte to heal her partner with her healing abilities.
Seiya somehow stands up and manages to defeat the Demon Lord. He also waves goodbye to her companions with a smile. In the end, you see Ristarte receive a note from Seiya. She reads it and bursts out with tears of joy.
Cautious Hero Season 2 Plot
In the finale of the first season, the Demon Lord of Gaeabrande has been defeated by Seiya. For sacrificing his life to defeat the Lord, Seiya was resurrected a third time before being assigned a new world to save along with Ristarte. Interestingly, the two were once lovers in a past life. They are now assigned to the world they had failed to save all those years ago – Ixphoria.
But as per the synopsis of the light novels, things will not be the same this time. The second season will be much more intense than its first counterpart. Both the protagonists have failed to save the kingdom in their previous incarnations, which is now ranked SS in terms of danger. Furthermore, Seiya has been re-classed as a flute-playing bard. He has new abilities in this new world, and now he has to battle to save Ixphoria like never before.
