What Happened at the End of Season 1?
The whole story of the anime takes a turn by the end of the first season’s finale. The protagonist of the show is challenged by the Earth Dragon Araba, the villain. The spider Kumoko has been gaining power and expertise throughout the season and overcoming several obstacles and foes.
The climactic episode of the season shows her defeating the dragon using her cunning and skills to avoid Araba’s assaults and counterattack with her most powerful abilities. She is hurt and is on the verge of losing her life. Her victory cost her high. The first season of So I’m a Spider, So What? was split into two courses, each containing 12 episodes. The anime has adapted the original light novel series up to Volume 3 of a total of 16 volumes.
